The latest Stratus Technologies Podcast is out – It’s a discussion with Simon Walker, MD of the Availability Specialists Foundation IT, on Microsoft’s Office Communication Server.
What struck a chord with me is the observation that employees are simply very intolerant of communications downtime. Also interesting to note that the license for the standard edition of OCS requires all components to be hosted on a single server – A single point of failure if ever I heard one.
